A six-week course and experience to explore the design process in a hands-on, project-based design experience that allows you to be a designer in a studio setting. You will learn the design process through activities and exercises to design and build a project from concept to a final prototype, With an opportunity to present and exhibit to pupils. Each studio focuses on a different design discipline, with no more than 4 designers per studio class.
Two-hour weekly sessions on Tuesday evenings 6:30-8:30PM, beginning March 25
No studio on Tuesday, April 15
Work outside of sessions expected and encouraged (approx. 2-4 hours weekly)
Time will vary and dependent on design(er) approach
Materials for early design development and light kit provided (final intended object materials not included)
